With the weather getting colder and colder, I’d thought it would be the perfect time to share with everyone Maman’s Matcha Hot Chooclate Recipe. It’s a simple and easy drink to make at home or even prepare for guests that you may have coming over the holidays! Please enjoy 🙂
Ingredients:
30 gr white chocolate wafers (30 gr = ¼ cup)
2 scoops (2 grams) of matcha
8-10oz almond milk or milk of your choice
Toppings for Drink:
whipped cream
shredded coconut
Directions:
1. melt 30gr (1/4 cup) of white chocolate wafers in a double boiler over the stove & pour almond milk on top
2. whisk the mixture together until the chocolate melts completely in the almond milk
3. add matcha and steam the mixture. be sure to add the matcha after you melt the white chocolate and milk mixture so you don’t over heat and burn the matcha
4. pour into your favorite mug
5. top with whipped cream & shredded coconut flakes. enjoy!
