As of November 1st, 2015, “Guu Izakaya” (Church, Bloor & North York locations) have been renamed Kinka Izakaya (@KinkaIzakayaTO). This is due to an ending franchise agreement between Kinka Family Inc. and Kitanoya Marketing Corp. But don’t you worry! Nothing has changed except for the name. The menu, quality of food, staff and of course the almost-verbally-abusive greetings (lol) remain the same. For those who are curious, “KINKA” means “Golden Flower” and symbolizes “happiness”.
{Left} Milky Sakura ($7.50) – plum wine, lime, mint, soda
