Current Favourite Bath Bombs + Bubbles

I was recently asked by a friend what my favourite bath bombs from Lush are, which prompted me to realize that I’ve never done a blog post on this topic before. I was surprised, given that I’ve been taking a bubble bath almost every single night for the last little while!

I love my bubble baths all year round. It helps me to de-stress and wind down from whatever stressful or busy day I was having. But depending on my mood that day, I have to make sure I use the proper products. If I want an extra long soak, I will use more expensive products. If I’m in a rush or have something else going on that evening, I will lean towards more affordable products. I’ve tried a wide range of bath products but usually end up coming back to these same items that work well for me below:

1// Lush – Intergalactic Bath Bomb – This is my favourite ‘crazy colour’ bath bomb. The quality of the soak feels so nice and I usually use this bath bomb when I’m in the mood for a longer soak. I get such a satisfying kick watching this little blue bath bomb turn my tub into a portal to outer space

2// Lush – A French Kiss – This is my favourite bathbomb to use when I want a super relaxing soak. The bubbles from this product are really good quality (I’ve tried really dissappointing ones before) and the aroma to this bath bomb just makes you feel calm + relaxed.

Although the products from Lush are amazing quality, the bill would add up if I used their products every night. On nights that I can only have a quick soak in the bath, I will use these:

3// Body Shop – Green Tea Bath Bomb / Candied Plum Bath Bomb*- I alternate between these 2 bath bombs and use these 3-4 times of the week. I love the smell of the green tea + candied plum and they leave your skin pretty silky. These bath bombs from Body Shop are really affordable so if you take a bath as frequent as I do, then I can’t recommend this enough.

*There aren’t any Candied Plum Bath Bomb available on their website right now. Just remember to pick some up when Body Shop retail stores open again!

4// Body Shop – British Rose Petal Soft bath foam – On the days I’m not using Body Shop’s bath bombs, I’m usually using the British Rose Petal for bubbles. This British Rose Petal smells soooo good and is quite affordable. I love that a little drop of this product in the bath goes a long way.

5// Botanical Propaganda – Sleepy Time Bath Bomb / Zen Bomb Bath Bomb – I LOVEEEEEEE these bath bombs. The quality of these products are really unique in that regardless of which bath bombs you try, they add something really rich, milky and silky to your bath. And the smells are great! Their prices range somewhere between Body Shop products and Lush products. I passed by this brand for the first time when we visited their booth at St Jacobs Farm near Kitchener-Waterloo. Unfortunately, the downtown Kitchener store is their only other location but they do have an online store.

That’s it from me! Please be sure to leave a comment and tell me what YOUR favourite bath products are! Feel free to also follow along my Instagram page where I update daily with what I’m up to!
