Let’s face it. Most of the time we end up eating out because it’s just a much easier and convenient alternative after a long day at work. The last thing we want to do is contemplate what to make for dinner, drive to the grocery store and roam around the supermarket looking for ALL the ingredients.
That is why Longo’s is introducing a new meal-based shopping concept at Longo’s Maple Leaf Square. This new concept, exclusive to Longo’s, allows customers to select a recipe and find all the required ingredients in one convenient location. With the added benefit of hand-selecting what goes into the meal, customers can customize the recipe to meet their preferences. This means, no more roaming around the supermarket looking for and ingredients and worrying later if you’ve missed picking something up!
Once you’re at the ‘Meals Made Easy’ section, you can pick up any of the recipe cards or email them to yourself via the tablet. Each section of the aisle conveniently contains all the ingredients you need for that specific recipe!
The recipes we cooked during our visit that week included a Steak Provencal that took 10 mins to prep, 20 mins to marinate and 10 mins to cook. Portions on this recipe card serve 4. The other recipe we made was Citrus Shrimp Cups that took 15 mins to prep and serves 6-8 people. Both recipes are quick and easy to make!
That’s it from me guys! Hope you guys find this post useful & be sure to leave a comment if you’ve already checked out Longo’s Meals Made Easy! Feel free to also follow along my Instagram page where I update daily with what I’m up to.
