Saturday mornings at Yaya

A couple of Saturdays ago, Eden and I were looking for brunch spots  in the East End and randomly passed by YAYA. The restaurant looked busy from the outside but had enough space to accommodate the two of us so we walked right in to give it a try!

Since our first visit, we’ve been back at Yaya’s a few times and this place has not disappointed us. Their brunch menu is extensive, the food is always consistent, service is very warm and friendly – it’s a very solid spot if you’re looking for a simple brunch. The best part about Yaya’s (at least for me), is they pride themselves using Ontario Farmers – this means they give you healthy organic meals. They have gluten free, vegan, dairy free and organic options.

Sexy Avocado Benedict ($16.00)

  • This vegetarian and gluten free friendly dish comes with 2 sunny side up eggs served on a bed of avocado, potatoes, roasted red peppers, portobello mushrooms
  • If you want a vegetarian delicious breakfast, this sexy avocado benedict is perfect. In fact, this benedict is better off without any protein. The combination of the mashed avocado, potatoes, roasted red peppers and mushrooms is so well put together. Topped off with some chips to give the benny that extra crunch!
