The 94th annual Royal Agricultural Winter Fair returned to the Exhibition Place for the past 2 weeks (Nov 4-13, 2016). The fair brought the finest in food, agriculture and equine competition in Toronto. The Royal has been the world’s largest combined indoor agricultural and equestrian fair since 1922. The event offered something fun and exciting for everything whether their passion was prize-winning cattle, goats, sheeps of pigs, the best in agriculture, local food and beer or equestrian competitors from around the globe.
Lucky for me, Sandi (Foodaholic Blog) invited me to attend as her guest to The Royal Dinner by Chef Michael Bonacini. The dishes we enjoyed were made with select ingredients sourced from Ontario producers and exhibitors.
During the dinner, we were situated at one end of the venue over looking the show.
