During #NationalBurgerMonth, and just in time for #NationalBurgerDay coming up on Saturday May 28th, Wahlburgers has added a Surf ‘N Turf Burger to its menu! Luckily enough for me, I had the opportunity to sample the latest addition to their menu and of course took some mouth watering pictures to share with you all! =)
Wahlburgers (Facebook: Wahlburgers Canada / Twitter: WahlburgersCA / Instagram: WahlburgersCA) currently have 2 locations in Canada. One at Pearson International Airport (Terminal 1) and the other located in the heart of downtown Toronto on Blue Jays Way. The inspiration behind Wahlburgers comes from Paul and his hopes to ensure patrons have fun and re-connect with their childhood when family come together.
BBQ Chicken Nachos ($13.70) / Vegetarian Option ($11.75)
- pickled jalapenos, spiced cheese mix, olives, sour cream, avocado, salsa
The “eh?” Burger ($10.45)
- 5 oz. beef patty, peameal bacon, fried egg, smoked cheddar, lettuce, mustard mayo, ketchup & mustard
- We opted for a lettuce wrap
{Side} Sweet Potato Tots ($4.50)
{Side} Alma’s Macaroni ($4.50)
- elbow macaroni, red onion, sweet peppers, parsley, served with mom’s creamy mayo dressing
Surf ‘N Turf ($16.95)
- 5oz beef patty, lobster meat, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato & housemade lemon chive mayo
- The patty, cooked well, was juicy, meaty and tasted damn good. Large chunks of fresh lobster meat. The veggie toppings and sauce were in perfect ratios and that housemade lemon chive mayo totally brought it home for me.
- The bun was fresh and firm – foundation of any great burger
