Earlier this afternoon, I had the pleasure of attending a Royal Afternoon Tea Celebration in honour of Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th inside Fairmont Royal York’s famous Royal Suite (Twitter: @FairmontRYH / Instagram: @FairmontRoyalYork). We had the opportunity to meet a tea sommelier and enjoyed the Queen’s favourite afternoon delicacies including William’s Chocolate Biscuit Cake.
It was an incredible experience learning about all the exciting facts of the Royal Suite. We actually dined inside the Royal Suite to find out that Prince Harry stayed in the exact same suite last week! To list a few names – The Queen, Justin Beiber, The Olsen Twins, Leonardo Dicaprio & Bill Clinton all stay in this Royal Suite when they visit.
We had the opportunity to sample the same cake served at William & Kate’s Royal Wedding.
{Library Bar} – Executive Chef Robert Mills completely revamped the afternoon tea menu!
