First afternoon tea experience @ MoRoCo Chocolat!

I’m going to confess right off the bat that I’ve only ever afternoon-tea a handful of times and to be exact – this afternoon tea experience at MoRoCo Chocolat (@MoRoCoChocolat) would be my third time ever! It’s not that I don’t enjoy to afternoon tea, generally speaking, (it is quite relaxing after all) but I personally like to indulge in heavy meals – 3 times a day. And so afternoon tea probably leans on the lighter side for me – which is why I don’t usually suggest to go in the first place unless someone initiates! Anywho (getting off topic), a few weeks ago, I thought it would be a great idea to bring my mom (who likes lighter meals) to MoRoCo Chocolat to have some quality mother and daughter time 🙂

My mother and I opted for the ‘Moroco High Tea‘ set which consisted of the following:

  • Choice of a selection of their teas or sipping chocolate
  • A delicious array of finger sandwiches
  • Choice of Truffled Mac & Cheese or Daily Quiche
  • Fresh MoRoCo scones, served with devonshire cream, lemon curd and an assortment of seasonal preserves
  • A variety of lovely mini pastries

Tuesday – Thursday

  • High Tea with Champagne $57.00
    • without Champagne $45.00

Friday – Sunday

  • High Tea with Champagne $72.00
    • without Champagne $60.00

Creamy Vanilla Tea

  • The most popular sweet flavours in the world, captured with the richness of black Ceylon tea, macadamia and hazelnuts. The best Vanilla tea we have ever tasted

Daily Quiche:

Mac & Cheese:

In addition to the afternoon tea set above, my mom and I were left craving for something a bit meaty. We decided to order something off their brunch menu to share. We couldn’t help but notice a lot of people ordering the below Steak Wrap – we thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to order one ourselves.

Steak Wrap ($18.00)

  • Striploin steak, mushrooms, caramelized onions & aioli wrapped in a warm tortilla

The steak wrap was such a hearty finish to the meal! The steak was incredibly juicy – the caramliezed onion & aioli totally did it for me! Lastly, I’m now officially on the hunt for some creamy vanilla tea. It’s strange – I usually drink tea as is but this one at MoRoCo Chocolat has left me on a hunt for more.
