Say hello to one of Yorkville’s newest middle eastern restaurant located at the corner of Bay & Cumberland. Paramount Fine Foods (@ParamountFoods) opened its doors to the public 3 months ago bringing exotic flavours and also being the first full service halal restaurant in Yorkville. This new location will feature an upscale sit-down dining experience with an open concept kitchen and a wood-burning oven.
Paramount Fine Foods is Canada’s fastest growing halal Middle Eastern restaurant chain. They employs over 800 staff members within 15 restaurant locations in Southern Ontario, a gourmet butcher shop, a food factory, a food truck and the new Fresh East franchise.

Tabbouleh Salad
- Fresh chopped parsley, diced tomatoes and onions, mixed with crushed wheat, lemon juice, and virgin olive oil
Hummus with Beef
- Hummus with your choice of chicken or beef shawarma, drizzled with virgin olive oil
Chicken with Cheese Manakeesh
- Diced grilled chicken flavoured with spices & topped with melted mozzarella cheese
Entree: Lamb
- Two skewers of in house marinated iamb. char-grilled to perfection and served with a side of hummus
Believe it or not, this was my first time indulging in some yummy middle eastern food. I loved everything that we ordered from the beef hummus to the chicken pizza to the lamb skewer – everything was so on spot! Be sure to check them out if you’re ever strolling along Yorkville!
